What to do if you have a problem submitting your registration – FAQ
Q: I cannot submit my registration. How do I know if I have a ‘pop-up blocker’ problem?
A: Look for an ‘alert’ on your screen. If your registration form does not process, or appears blank, or seems locked, look to the top (usually right side) of your browser for an alert that says ‘pop-up blocked!’. You should have an option to ‘allow once’ or ‘always allow for this site’. Choose the latter. Either will solve the problem.
Q: I cannot complete my registration and I see no other ‘alerts’ indicating a problem. What next?
A: Update your browser to the current version. Most registration problems occur because of an old or out of date version of your browser.
For Google Chrome, at the top right of your screen, open the ‘Control Google Chrome’ pull down menu (under the 3 vertical dots). Select ‘Help’ then ‘About Google Chrome’. The current version will be displayed and then will automatically update to the current version, or allow you to click to update. Press ‘refresh’ or ‘reload’ if necessary, which should also save the info on your registration form.
For Internet Explorer, click the ‘Tools’ icon (gear wheel) at the top right. Select ‘About Internet Explorer’. Select ‘Install new versions automatically’.
For Firefox, click Menu at top right. Select ‘Options’, select ‘Advanced’, select ‘Automatically install updates’.
For Safari on MacIntosh, ensure operating system is current version. Click Menu top left ‘Safari’, then ‘About Safari’.
Q: Help! I’m still having problems and am not sure how to proceed.
A: Contact Beth Sangara at 250-387-8110 or Beth.Sangara@destinationbc.ca and we will assist with processing your registration.
