PURPOSE OF POSITION
As Destination BC’s People and Development Advisor, you provide comprehensive, people-focused Human Resources (HR) advice to employees and managers. You consult with all levels of employees to design and deliver corporate-wide HR services, programs and initiatives that align with Destination BC’s HR Strategy and corporate goals.
You have a passion for building relationships, championing employee engagement and providing exceptional people services. You enjoy translating the big picture into day to day HR operations and program management. You thrive in a diverse work portfolio that includes strategic planning, employee engagement, recruitment, talent development, HR analytics, organizational development, performance management and diversity, equity and inclusion.
Reporting to the Director, People and Development, you will have the opportunity to partner with teams from all lines of Destination BC’s business to ensure the right Human Resources programs and processes are in place at Destination BC to foster a highly engaged team of collaborative, inclusive, courageous, insights-driven and results-focused employees.
In this role, you are skilled at prioritizing your work in the context of strategic goals. You champion inclusive leadership and promote respect and equity in the workplace.
