PURPOSE OF POSITION
This position works in an executive environment with limited direction. The Executive Administration Assistant (EAA) must make decisions independently and requires superior administrative and organizational abilities to handle a high volume of competing tasks to meet deadlines. The role requires efficient handling of a variety of sensitive and confidential material, policy, and operations issues. The EAA works directly with the Vice President of Corporate Development and works closely with the Executive Team, and Senior Leadership to coordinate, track, monitor and report on a range of corporate issues, projects, and assignments. The EAA works closely with the offices of the CEO, Vice President, Global Marketing, and Vice President, Destination Management to ensure the efficient and effective flow of information and coordination across the organization.
The Executive Administrative Assistant also provides support to the CEO’s office and the Board of Directors including arranging complex meetings, travel itineraries both nationally and internationally, and completing travel expenses. This position develops and maintains a series of administrative systems to ensure the efficient and effective management of corporate records, including leave management, financial processing and tracking, and the division’s records management system.
