As the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist, you take a leading role on the team dedicated to ensuring that Destination British Columbia is maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud stack, which currently includes Email Studio, Social Studio, Predictive Intelligence, and Journeys.
You have direct experience working in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment and are comfortable both navigating the system and training/coaching others, with diverse business needs, to use the system. In this role, you have direct accountabilities for the adoption rate of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and will engage with both internal and external industry stakeholders to understand their business needs and how the system can drive results for them.
You will provide technical support and translate business requirements into technical requirements that can be executed to build new functionality and improve existing features for multiple business groups with varying needs. In addition, you are responsible for maintaining a data governance document and user training materials.
In this role, you are passionate about data-driven marketing, have exceptional communication skills, and are eager to work with others to drive increase marketing performance and innovation. You are the organization’s internal Salesforce Marketing Cloud champion.
