Tourism Week 2026: Industry Resources from Destination BC

BC Tourism Week is an annual celebration of tourism in BC and across Canada. This year, BC Tourism Week runs from April 20 - 24, 2026.

During this week, industry partners come together to champion and promote BC’s destinations, tourism businesses, and employees.

Working jointly with The Tourism Industry Association of BC, Destination BC has prepared resources to celebrate the value of tourism and support industry to do the same.

There were 16,925 tourism-related businesses in BC in 2024.

In 2024, tourism contributed 3% or nearly $8.0 billion of value added to the BC economy, as measured through GDP (in 2017 constant dollars). In 2024, the tourism industry’s contributions were above those of all other primary resource industries.
