Shining a Spotlight BC Coastal Gem

Desolation Sound on the Sunshine Coast was highlighted in an article on T-Online.de in Germany earlier this month. The author begins by disagreeing with Captain Vancouver’s naming of “Desolation Sound", chosen because "there was not a single prospect that was pleasing to the eye", which is far from the truth! The article refers to the area as “nature’s paradise”, mentioning Homfray Lodge, bear watching from the viewing towers on Klite River, as well as the Sunshine Coast’s art scene.
