A new campaign supporting BC’s broader tourism strategy for FIFA World Cup 26™ has launched in the UK and Germany. Running from May 20 to July 27, 2025, the campaign features a video and landing page that invite soccer enthusiasts to experience the province’s breathtaking viewpoints beyond the stadium.
The creative concept plays on the idea that while BC Place will host the beautiful game, the province also offers “beautiful seats” throughout its diverse landscapes: on rocks, boats, horseback, surfboards, or chairlifts.
Media tactics include connected TV, online video, streaming platforms, and social channels, with placements during key major European soccer tournaments when target audiences are most engaged with the sport. A custom landing page (in English and German) was also developed to inspire soccer fans to plan their trip to BC before, during, and after the tournament. It features a beautifully crafted new story, 3-day getaway ideas, and also encourages travellers to travel further into the province with road trips along the Rainforest to Rockies route or through The Great Wilderness.
