As excitement builds for the FIFA World Cup 2026™, Destination BC is helping global football fans discover more of British Columbia while they’re here.

In partnership with Discover Canada Tours and Entrée Canada, Destination BC is connecting fans to newly launched travel packages designed to encourage extended stays and exploration across the province before, during, and after the matches.

These bookable itineraries are featured on the Beautiful Seats FIFA World Cup 26™ page on SuperNaturalBC.com, offering experiences ranging from coastal yacht adventures and alpine escapes to valley vineyard tours and Indigenous-led cultural experiences.

Two Operators, Many Ways to Explore

The two featured tour operators bring distinct travel styles to meet the diverse needs of football fans:

  • Discover Canada Tours offers multi-day, guided trips that explore BC lakes, mountains, vineyards, and coasts – at exceptional value. Bonus: their Special Edition tours align with the tournament schedule to simplify planning.
  • Entrée Canada specializes in high-end, customized travel for luxury-seeking visitors. Their itineraries include private coastal yacht journeys, alpine retreats, and Indigenous-led cultural experiences.

Together, the packages cater to a range of travel motivators, durations, and budgets, making it easier for fans to turn their visit into an unforgettable journey in BC.

Encouraging Exploration Beyond the Stadium

These travel packages are one example of how Destination BC is activating its role on the BC Tourism FC: a coordinated, province-wide strategy that leverages FIFA World Cup 2026™ as a catalyst for long-term tourism growth. The goal: transform global attention on BC into meaningful travel experiences that benefit communities across the province.

With seven matches scheduled at BC Place in Vancouver, the tournament offers a rare opportunity to position BC not just as a host city, but as a destination worth exploring before, between, and after game days. By promoting these itineraries through Super, Natural British Columbia® channels, Destination BC is encouraging visitors to travel farther, stay longer, and discover more.

This supports key provincial tourism objectives: increased geographic and seasonal dispersion, visitor spending in rural and urban communities, and stronger connections to local culture, people, and landscapes.

Connecting the World to BC

The FIFA World Cup 2026™ is expected to attract more than one million additional visitors to Canada and generate over $1 billion in tourism-related revenue between 2026 and 2030. Destination BC’s support in promoting these experiences helps ensure those benefits are shared across communities, regions, and seasons.
