Together, we’re working to ensure FIFA World Cup 26™ delivers meaningful benefits for British Columbia by showcasing our province on a global stage, boosting tourism, and creating lasting opportunities for communities.

From collaborative initiatives to practical resources, we’re here to help you make the most of this incredible opportunity for BC’s tourism sector, communities, and economy.

The Game Plan

With five key pillars and working groups from across our industry, our strategy is focused on collaboration to ensure one team strengthens outcomes for all. Our strategy focuses on three key goals:

  1. Increase Destination Awareness and Visitation: Showcase BC’s breathtaking landscapes, diverse cultures, and world-class hospitality to inspire visitors from around the globe.
  2. Boost Geographic and Seasonal Visitor Dispersion: Encourage visitors to explore BC’s regions year-round, creating balanced and sustainable tourism opportunities across the province.
  3. Ensure Economic and Cultural Benefits for Communities: Drive long-term economic growth and celebrate BC’s cultural diversity, creating a lasting legacy for communities.
