The launch of BC’s six iconic destination brands is well underway—making waves across the globe through paid, earned, and owned media, as well as travel media and trade initiatives. 

Each week this fall, Destination BC is putting the spotlight on one of these iconic brands. From October 13-19, it’s time to shine a light on Birthplace of Adventure.

This is your moment to amplify the momentum and show the world the endless peaks, thrilling adventure, and transformative wildlife encounters that define this region.

How to Get Involved:

We’re inviting tourism partners to help us spread the word and boost visibility across platforms:

Engage with us on social media:

  • LinkedIn: Follow @Destination British Columbia, reshare industry-facing posts, and tag us in your own content.
  • Instagram: Keep an eye on @SuperNaturalBC for consumer-facing content. Reshare posts to your Stories or feed, and don’t forget to tag us so we can engage.

Make the most of Birthplace of Adventure feature week by using these ready-to-go tools, available now at DestinationBC.ca/BOA:

  • Brand launch toolkit: Packed with practical ways to participate in the campaign this fall, and beyond. Use this to align your own marketing and communications with the brand launch. 
  • Industry video: A short, compelling overview of the brand identity and the strategy behind Birthplace of Adventure.
  • Brand strategy one pager: Understand the essence of the brand with this one-page overview, which includes the positioning statement, storytelling pillars, and brand identity.
  • Image collection for industry: Access a curated collection of brand-aligned imagery that reflects the spirit of Birthplace of Adventure.
