VCM Sustainability Council Update as of June 5, 2023

The VCM Sustainability Council is moving forward on the implementation of our Action Plan with a number of short-term priorities for 2023. The focus is on two projects:

1. VCM Sustainability Playbook & Toolkit
   • Estimated completion is June 2023 for the playbook and Fall 2023 for the toolkit.
   • These resources are intended for VCM communities and tourism businesses to help create their own sustainability plans.
2. Measuring the greenhouse gas emissions of the VCM region
   • Currently in the research phase
   • Estimated completion Summer 2023
