Welcoming the World to Vancouver: The Line-Up

Vancouver was one of sixteen host cities for FIFA World Cup 26™

BC Place hosted seven matches, including five group stage fixtures and two knockout matches in the Round of 32 and Round of 16, which created a significant opportunity for British Columbia’s tourism industry to welcome fans and share our province with viewers around the world.

The matches were the main event during FIFA World Cup 26™ at BC Place, but some of the best seats are beyond the stadium—where mountains rise and oceans meet the horizon. BC tourism partners encouraged visitors to book authentic BC journeys, crafted for FIFA World Cup 26™ travellers seeking more than the matches.
