Destination BC recently joined the Embassy of Canada and tourism partners from across Canada for ISPO Beijing 2025 Asia Sports Equipment and Fashion Exhibition to promote winter travel to the province. This year’s exhibition was held at the China National Convention Center from January 10-12, 2025, and was attended by an estimated 25,000 people, including many outdoor and adventure enthusiasts.
BC was featured prominently in the Canadian pavilion, showcasing 13 BC ski resorts and other winter experiences in key BC destinations across a large backdrop, video screens, printed flyers, and a photo booth opportunity. Through our co-operative marketing partnership with 6renyou Travel, attendees were able to connect travel advisors on-site to learn about BC ski and R2R packages and booking. Supporting our attendance at the exhibition, we generated further awareness of BC as a winter destination through channels owned by ISPO Beijing, the Embassy of Canada, Key Opinion Leaders, media, and our own social channels.
Destination BC also made destination presentations at a number of forum sessions throughout the 3-day show, reach over 200 media professionals and consumers.
