Destination BC is proud to announce participation in the Province’s BC Business House activation during FIFA World Cup 2026™.
Vancouver will host seven matches between June 13 and July 7, 2026, bringing millions of visitors, including global business leaders, investors, media, and decision-makers, to our province and across North America.
BC Business House, launched by the Government of British Columbia, is designed to leverage that global attention to advance trade, attract investment, and showcase the strengths of our province across sectors including technology, agriculture, transportation, and tourism.
The programming begins with a dedicated Tourism Showcase on Friday, June 12, just ahead of the first match in Vancouver.
This opportunity positions tourism as a key economic driver for British Columbia and to highlight the world-class experiences, destinations, and partnerships that make our province such a compelling place to visit and invest in.
Tourism plays an important role in BC’s economy, generating $23 billion in annual revenue and supporting more than 113,000 jobs across the province. BC Business House creates an opportunity to strengthen those impacts by connecting tourism with broader economic and investment conversations happening on a global stage.
Throughout the tournament, BC Business House will bring together domestic and international business leaders, government partners, investors, and organizations in a dedicated space for meetings, networking, sector showcases, and business engagement.
This showcases how the FIFA World Cup 2026™ is about much more than sport, creating a platform to build long-term economic, tourism, and business opportunities for British Columbia.
