Nomination Deadline Extension – 2023 BC Tourism & Hospitality Awards

The 2023 BC Tourism & Hospitality Awards nomination submission deadline has been extended to 11:50 pm on December 22, 2022.

The 2023 BC Tourism & Hospitality Awards are presented by BCHA and TIABC to recognize and celebrate the excellence, leadership, and innovation in British Columbia’s tourism & hospitality industry. These Awards demonstrate a standard of excellence for operators and employees in the industry, showcasing the province’s best products, services, experiences, and people. We encourage applications from all industry members.

The 2023 BC Tourism & Hospitality Awards will be awarded at the Awards Gala evening during the 2023 BC Tourism & Hospitality Awards will be awarded at the Awards Gala evening during the 2023 BC tourism and Hospitality Conference on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre.

In 2023, success will be recognized in the following nine categories:

  • Indigenous Operator or Experience
  • Sustainability
  • Employees First
  • Business Woman of the Year
  • Innovation
  • Community Contribution & Impact
  • Professional Excellence
  • Access and Inclusion
  • Remarkable Experience

General Eligibility Criteria

*Applicable to all categories

  • Nominees can be self-nominated or nominated by other organizations/individuals.
  • Nominees must have been operating/working in the tourism and hospitality industry in British Columbia in 2022 (in either the public or private sectors).
  • All nominations must be endorsed and supported by the nominee prior to submission of the nomination.
  • Individual members of the BCHA Board of Directors, TIABC Board of Directors and employees of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture or Destination British Columbia are not eligible for these awards. The companies that are represented by these individuals are eligible.
