Module 6 – Website Usability

Website usability can be defined as the ease at which someone can use your website to achieve specific goals. Website accessibility is the practice of ensuring that your website enables everyone to perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with your site. The two work closely together; Good websites employ user-friendly design and are accessible to a broad range of visitors.

Accessibility and usability should never be an afterthought. Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) provide a single shared standard for web content accessibility that meets the needs of individuals, organizations, and governments internationally.

In this module you will learn tools, techniques, and principles to help you evaluate your website and ensure it meets usability and accessibility best practices and WCAG standards for design and development.
