Tourism Digital Academy – Self-Guided

The Tourism Digital Academy is a free, 8-week digital marketing program. The Self-Guided program is a condensed version of the in-class Tourism Digital Academy, designed for BC-based tourism businesses who prefer the freedom of working at their own pace.

This program option offers maximum flexibility to complete the program on your own schedule with unlimited access to digital marketing instruction videos, templates and resources at your fingertips for 6 months.

From setting your goals, to building a better understanding of SEO, website usability, content, email marketing, analytics and more – this program is focused on providing practical, actionable guidance to set you on a path to complete your businesses’ digital marketing plan.

This self-guided online program includes six (6) months of access to:

  • Videos covering eight (8) different aspects of digital marketing with one-four (1- 4) short videos totaling about 1 hour per topic
  • Resources, tools, and templates to support learning throughout the program
  • A marketing plan template with instructions and activities to guide development of your own plan

 
Eligibility and Application

The program is free for all BC-based tourism businesses with an active business website, whose product or service is regularly available for purchase within BC (community tourism and sector organizations are also eligible).

There are no minimum experience level requirements to participate in the Self-Guided program. Participants can apply any time, and will be granted access register to the course within 5 business days.
